“Revenue Grows 4x” — Google Concludes 10-Week Startup Growth Accelerator Program

Google has concluded its 10-week accelerator program for early-stage Korean startups and held an event to showcase the participating companies' achievements.

On the 15th, Google hosted the Google for Startups Accelerator Korea Demo Day at The Shilla Seoul in Jung-gu, Seoul. The Google for Startups Accelerator is a 10-week program designed to support the growth of AI startups through expert consulting, global business networking, and other resources. The Korean program was first launched in 2021 and is now in its fifth year.

This year's cohort included 14 startups: ALPI, Artizen Space, CodeCrayon, Countdn.AI, Dalpa, Invecter, Lesser, LinkAlpha, Moonis, Notifly, PhotoWidget, Storyca, TeamLimited, and GIGR.

During this year's program, the startups participated in 22 specialized training seminars and 118 individual mentoring sessions. In particular, Google professionals from Google DeepMind, Google Cloud, and Google Ads worked directly with the startups to improve their product competitiveness and develop business strategies.

The Demo Day, held at The Shilla Seoul, provided an opportunity for the 14 startups to share the growth they achieved during the 10-week program and present their future business plans. One participating startup even succeeded in nearly quadrupling its revenue during the program.

In her welcome address, Ruth Sun, President of Google Cloud Korea, said, “The success of startups is the success of Google,” adding, “Supporting startups to drive the next wave of industry innovation is Google's mission.”

She continued, “I am proud to see Korean startups that have received support through Google's startup development programs achieve explosive growth.”
