10 Korean Startups Take the Stage at Google

AI-Powered App and Game Startups Participate in Google I/O Conference

Ten Korean mobile app and game startups are participating in Google I/O, Google's annual developer conference.

According to Google and other sources on the 19th, ten Korean AI companies and mobile app and game developers that have graduated from “ChangGoo,” a startup support program operated by Google Play, will attend the full Google I/O program, held over two days starting today in San Francisco, California.

The participating companies are BlueSignum, Clevbrain, Countdn.AI, Artizen Space, Twida, TeamLimited, Planfit, Peterpeter, Sling, and Wrtn.

Most of these companies operate AI-powered services across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, education, image editing, marketing, and pet healthcare.

Google I/O is Google's annual global developer conference, where the company showcases its latest technologies and products and engages with developers from around the world.

This year's event is expected to introduce new technologies across various fields, including AI and machine learning, cloud computing, mobile technology, and extended reality (XR).

ChangGoo is a startup support program operated by Google Play in partnership with Korea's Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED).

Through its seventh cohort last year, the program had produced 660 graduate companies. Since its launch in 2019, participating companies have collectively raised approximately KRW 177.2 billion (approximately USD 130 million) in investment during their respective partnership periods.
